Headboards into a bench

So, after having this set of headboard/footboard sit in my garage for about a month. I finally took advantage of the nice weather and pulled them into the drive to see what to do with them.

(..and just ignore the finger in the corner..lol)

After a little thought, I decided to make a triangle bench out it. So, with a little work this is what it turn into.

It does still need some work, paint and stain. Have any suggestion for color? Leave the in the comments! Or on the post on Facebook. Until next time.
